This video explains what tecar therapy is and how it acts on the human body.
The heat and the electric stimulation produced are endogenous, which means they originate inside the organism, and entail a deeper and longer action compared to other therapeutic currents. This translates into:
- Biostimulating effect: acceleration of biologic tissue regeneration.
- Antiedemigenous effect: thanks to the improvement of tissue drainage.
- Antalgic effect: reduction of the pain symptom in the stimulated area.
- Myo-relaxing effect: the warming of deep tissues reduces the muscle stiffness and the antalgic contracture of the muscle groups near the damaged area.
In the video we’ll see a practical example of a capacitive and a resistive treatment.
